Accessibility
We want everyone in a family to be able to tell their story, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
Our target
We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we hold our pages to
- Body text of at least 16 px.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background.
- Buttons and links in the story page at least 44 px tall, and never under 24 px anywhere.
- Every action reachable with the keyboard alone.
Where we are today
Some parts of the site, including the story page and the menus, still use smaller text or smaller targets, and we are fixing them.
